Irena Szydłowska (born January 28, 1928 in Lviv , † August 14, 1983 in Warsaw ) was a Polish archer .

Career

Irena Szydłowska first took part in the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972 . With 2407 points she finished second behind Doreen Wilber and thus received the silver medal. At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal , she finished the first round in eighth place, but fell far behind in the second round as 18th and finished the competition in 20th place overall. At world championships she was with the Polish team in 1967 in Amersfoort and 1971 in York world champion.
