Landfraß is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Gmünd in Carinthia in the Spittal an der Drau district in Carinthia .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 195 building areas with 37,225 m² and 89 gardens on 48,197 m² in the cadastral community Landfraß, in 1989/1990 there were 270 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 559 and in 2009/2010 there were 307 buildings on 585 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 424 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 935 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 308 hectares and 926 hectares were designated as forest areas.
