Draßnitz is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Dellach im Drautal in the Spittal an der Drau district in Carinthia .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 95 building areas with 18,774 m² and 24 gardens on 19,013 m² in the cadastral community Draßnitz , in 1989/1990 there were 107 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 192 and in 2009/2010 there were 146 buildings on 184 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 231 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 541 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 118 hectares and 617 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 99 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 700 hectares. The average soil climate in Draßnitz is 14.9 (as of 2010).
