Doreen Viola Hansen Wilber (born January 8, 1930 in Jefferson , Iowa , † October 19, 2008 ibid) was an American archer and Olympic champion.
From the mid-1960s to the mid-1970s, she was one of the best female archers. Among other things, she took part in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich . There she won the gold medal in the individual competition . Furthermore, she was able to win five American championships, including one in the field arc, in her active time.
In 1986 she was inducted into the Archery Hall of Fame .
