Ketewan "Keto" Lossaberidze ( Georgian ქეთევან ლოსაბერიძე ; born August 1, 1949 in Tqibuli , Georgian SSR ) is a former Georgian archer who ran for the Soviet Union.
Career
Ketewan Lossaberidze first took part in the Summer Olympics in Munich in 1972 . She finished fourth in the end. She celebrated the greatest success of her career eight years later at the Games in Moscow by winning the gold medal. For this success she was named Georgian Sportswoman of the Year 1980.
At world championships she was twice world champion with the Soviet team: 1973 in Grenoble and 1981 in Punta Ala. At European Championships she won the individual title in 1972, and in 1972, 1978 and 1980 with the team.
After her career, she was Professor of Mathematics at Tbilisi State University and was President of the Georgian Archery Association from 2002 to 2005.
