Crucifixion window in Béhuard

The crucifixion window in the Notre-Dame Catholic Church in Béhuard , a French parish in the Maine-et-Loire department in the Pays de la Loire region , was created at the end of the 15th century. The stained glass window in the Renaissance style was added to the list of listed objects ( Base Palissy ) in France in 1840 with the church as Monument historique .

The window in the side chapel is from an unknown workshop. It consists of three lancets with three representations each. In the middle at the top the crucifixion of Christ is shown. To the right and left of it, the coats of arms of the donors can be seen. On the middle level, the founder is depicted on the left and the founder with her patron saint on the right. At the bottom left is Mary with the Apostle John and at the bottom right St. Louis .

The window was supplemented after several restorations (compare the photo at Base Palissy, see individual records).
