Crucifixion window in Plémet

The Crucifixion Window in the St-Lubin Catholic Chapel in Plémet , a French commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany , was created in the 16th century. The stained glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1926 as Monument historique .

The central window in the choir was created by an unknown workshop. It shows a crucifixion scene with the crucifixion of Jesus on three lancets, with Mary on the left and the apostle John on the right .

In the three-part tracery , the Last Judgment is shown with Christ (above) and the resurrection of the dead. Mary and the apostle John pray and the angels make music over it.

The window was probably put together in 1928/29 from parts of different windows.

In addition to the crucifixion window, the window of the Life of John the Baptist in the chapel from the Renaissance period has been preserved.
