Mary's window in Ploubezre

The Mary window in the Notre-Dame Catholic chapel in Ploubezre , a French commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany , was created between 1480 and 1490. The stained glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1910 as Monument historique .

The central window in the choir was created by an unknown workshop. It shows four scenes from the life of Mary on four lancets (see captions). In the tracery , the dove as a symbol of the Holy Spirit and angels are depicted.

The window was restored in 1910/11.
