Barbara Window (Moncontour)
The Barbara Window in the Notre-Dame-St-Mathurin Catholic Church in Moncontour , a French commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department in the Brittany region , was created in 1538. The leaded glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1862 as Monument historique .
The window in the choir was created by an unknown workshop. It shows various scenes from the life of St. Barbara (see captions).
In addition to the Barbara window, five other windows from the Renaissance period have been preserved in the church (see navigation bar).
