Mary's Window (La Ferrière)
The Mary window in the Notre-Dame Catholic Church in La Ferrière , a former French parish in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany , was created in 1551. The leaded glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1908 as Monument historique .
The central window in the choir is attributed to Michel Bayonne's workshop in Rennes . It shows various scenes from the life of Mary on two lancets : birth and death , ascension and coronation .
In 1899 the window was restored by the Laigneau workshop and the current window was created from the remains of two windows. Additions were also made.
In addition to the St. Mary's window, there are four other windows in the church from the Renaissance period .
