The Roman Catholic Kreuzkapelle in Hof Lilach is located away from the hamlet , which belongs to the municipality of Wittighausen in the Main-Tauber district , in the direction of Ilmspan .
history
The Kreuzkapelle was built by the Henneberger family in the years 1877–78 in honor of the crucified Savior. The chapel was the destination of many pilgrims for decades . Due to excesses in the fires afterwards, this tradition ended in the 1950s. Today in May there will be devotions there again.
