The war memorial in Bruckdorf is a war memorial in Bruckdorf in the east of the city of Halle (Saale) in Saxony-Anhalt . It is under monument protection and is entered in the monument register with registration number 094 97104 as a small monument.

location

While the older monuments of Bruckdorf are in the center of the village, the war memorial is below the Leipziger Chaussee (opposite the house Leipziger Chaussee 1) southeast of Bruckdorf on the other side of the Reide in the area of the municipality of Kabelsketal in the Saalekreis , village of Dieskau . In the Halle monument register, it is listed under the address Zieglerstraße and given the addition of the local exit towards Leipzig on the B 6 .

shape

The almost identical war memorial in Löbejün was made by Richard Horn and was erected in 1924. It is therefore quite certain that this monument also belongs to the 1920s and was made by the same sculptor. Its exterior is also similar to other war memorials in the Saalekreis , such as that of Wallwitz . The complex is crowned by an iron cross .
