Kris Brynn

Kris Brynn (* 1968 in Stuttgart ), actually Regine Bott , is a German writer .

Life

Kris Brynn studied art history, literature and English in Stuttgart and wrote her master's thesis on “Film architecture in SF films of the 80s”. Alongside her studies, she worked in a bookstore, after which she was employed as an editor for almost 20 years. She has been self-employed since 2013 and has been writing crime novels , short stories and science fiction since 2014 .

For her novel The Shelter she was awarded the Fantastik Literature Prize Seraph in the category Best Debut in 2019 . Kris Brynn is both a member of the BVjA and there responsible for the regular table meetings of the authors in Stuttgart as well as a member of the Murderous Sisters , the get-shorties reading stage and the fantastic authors network PAN .

Kris Brynn lives with her family in Baden-Württemberg .
