The Crystal Hall or Kristalna dvorana ( Serbian - Cyrillic Кристална дворана ) is a sports and multi-purpose hall in the northern Serbian city ​​of Zrenjanin . The hall can hold up to 3500 spectators and was built primarily for the 2009 Summer Universiade . The construction was financed by the Vojvodina capital contribution fund and the city of Zrenjanin. The hall was officially opened on July 5, 2009 with the USA vs. Poland basketball match as part of the Summer Universiade.
