Charles Kristian Bonnycastle Bruun (born around 1980 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor .

Life

Kristian Bruun studied at the Valley Forge Military Academy in Pennsylvania and at Queen's University in Kingston . After completing this, he moved to the George Brown Theater School in Toronto . He has appeared in theatrical productions across Canada, as well as the United Kingdom and Germany .

Kristian Bruun had his first film role in 2003 in Good Morning Tomorrow . Since then she has mainly appeared in series, including in 2010 in the series Covert Affairs and 2012 in Nikita . Between 2012 and 2014, he starred as Slugger Jackson in a recurring role on the Murdoch Mysteries series. Since March 2013 he can be seen in the award-winning science fiction series Orphan Black with Tatiana Maslany . There he embodies Donnie Hendrix , Alison's husband , one of the clones that Maslany embodies. In the first two seasons he was part of the supporting cast, and since the third season he has played a leading role.

Kristian Bruun has both Canadian and Finnish citizenship .
