Jörn Ilper (born December 9, 1974 in Hamburg ), lawyer and former handball player .
Career
Jörn Ilper started playing handball at SG Massen in 1980 . From 1984 to 1990 he played for RSV Rath-Heumar . From 1990 he ran for TSV Bayer Dormagen , where he played in the Bundesliga team from 1991 . In the DHB Cup he lost in 1993 in the final of SG Wallau / Massenheim . In 1996 he moved to the then record champions VfL Gummersbach , with whom he stayed until 2005. In the EHF Cup 2004/05 he reached the semifinals with Gummersbach. In the 2005/06 season, Ilper was under contract with the Swiss club SG Stans / Central Switzerland . After its bankruptcy in the summer of 2006, he went to HaSpo Bayreuth. In December 2006 he moved on to VfB Forchheim . In 2007 he signed with the second division TV Korschenbroich , where he was active for the following four seasons.
For the 2011/12 season , Ilper, who has an A coaching license , took over the position of sporting director and coach at TV Korschenbroich . In this position he led the handball Korschenbroich GmbH through the plan insolvency . Thus, after the sporting descent in the 2011/12 season, the TV Korschenbroich could continue to exist in the 3rd division of the DHB. In January 2012 he became a consultant and sports director of SG MTVD Cologne. At the same time he returned to the field in March 2012 as a player for the second division HC Empor Rostock . At the end of the season in May he left both clubs. Subsequently, Ilper took over the management of the women's Bundesliga club DJK / MJC Trier in the 2012/13 season .
After the season goal of relegation was secured in Trier, but the economic perspective no longer existed, Ilper took a job as a management consultant (personnel) at KPMG in Cologne. The law graduate was responsible for developing the workforce's social programs. In 2016, Ilper moved to the management of Nexum AG and acted as CFO of the holding company . In 2019 he became Business Relations Manager at the Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers in Nuremberg.
