Kristina Sterz

Kristina Sterz (born July 1974 in Lübeck ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

After completing her degree in dentistry at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf , she switched to the media industry in 2001 and gained her first experience as a student assistant at RTL . From 2002, she presented the live broadcast “ Guten Abend RTL ” there, as well as alternating the weather report for all regional programs. She also worked as an editor and produced articles.

Kristina Sterz has been part of the team of moderators at Westdeutscher Rundfunk since 2006 . Here she works regularly for the Bielefeld State Studio, among others, and presents the news and the magazine issue of " Lokalzeit " as well as some special programs . She also moderated the state-wide "Lokalzeit NRW" and the late edition Lokalzeit before midnight 2018.

At the same time, she has been moderating the daily lifestyle magazine euromaxx - Life and Culture in Europe on Deutsche Welle television since October 2009 in Berlin . There she also moderated special programs, for example on the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall or 20 years of German unity, as well as the health magazine "Fit und Gesund". From January 2010 to March 2011 Kristina Sterz also presented current Hamburg stories in the NDR magazine Rund um den Michel .

Since October 2019 she has been a lecturer in journalism at the Technical University of Ostwestfalen-Lippe .

Kristina Sterz is married and lives in Berlin and Bielefeld.
