Krisztián Simon (born June 10, 1991 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian football player .

Career

Simon comes from the youth of Újpest Budapest . For the Hungarian capital club he made his debut as a professional footballer in the Nemzeti Bajnokság in 2009 . In the 2010/11 season , Simon was loaned to the Dutch first division club Feyenoord Rotterdam for the second half of the season.

During the winter break of the 2014/15 season , Simon moved to the German second division club TSV 1860 Munich , where he signed a contract until 2018. He made his first appearance for the Munich Lions on February 9, 2015 in a 1: 2 home defeat against 1. FC Heidenheim . On March 13, 2015, he was able to score his first goal for the Sechzger in a 3-0 away win against SpVgg Greuther Fürth when he brought his team into the lead in minute 34 after a presentation by Korbinian Vollmann . During his time with the Lions , Simon suffered two cruciate ligament ruptures.

After relegation in 1860, Simon returned to Újpest Budapest for the 2017/18 season.

National team

On June 7, 2014, Simon made his debut for the Hungarian national team in a friendly against Kazakhstan , when he came on for Ádám Gyurcsó in the 78th minute .
