The Kronenbrauerei Offenburg (since 2014 Brauwerk Baden GmbH under commercial law ) is a brewery from Offenburg ( Baden-Württemberg ). Around 100,000 hectoliters of beer and 10,000 hectoliters of non-alcoholic beverages are produced in-house and a total of 200,000 hectoliters of beverages are sold - mainly between Karlsruhe and Freiburg . The beers of the Kronen-Brauhaus are Kronen Premium exquisit, Kronen Pilsner , Kronen Export , Kronen Wintertraum ( malt beer ) as well as Wagner Pilsener, Wagner Privat, Wagner Hefeweizen , Wagner Dunkle Weisse , Wagner Kristallweizen and Wagner Edel-Weizen ( bottle fermentation ).

Gastronomy is a particular focus of sales . The company has 65 own restaurants.

history

The company was founded in 1847 by Theodor Braun in Oberkirch . After several mergers, the Kronenbrauerei was founded in Offenburg in 1928 and has been owned by the Gille / Nitze / Stetter family ever since.

In 1979 the Kronenbrauerei Hornberg was added, in 1993 the Wagner Brewery Offenburg and the beverage logistics center Kempf.

The Kronen-Brauhaus belongs to the initiative Die Freie Brauer , founded in 2006 , an association of independent private breweries in Europe.

In 2017 the company moved into the newly built brewery on the site of the former Offenburg repair shop .
