Krummacher (family)

The Krummacher family originally comes from Westphalia . The name goes back to a hallway and farm designation in Warendorf . After the Peace of Westphalia , the Protestant branch of the family emigrated to the Protestant county of Tecklenburg ; the Catholic branch is based in Warendorf until today.

The family has produced well-known theologians for generations:
