Krunoslav Levačić
Krunoslav Levačić (* 1957 in Zagreb ) is a Croatian (first Yugoslav) Jazz - drummer .
Levačić, who learned to play drums as an autodidact , was already interested in jazz in his childhood. He appeared in public from 1974. From 1989 he also began to play in Germany; between 1991 and 1996 he lived and worked in Cologne. From 1996 until today there have been many performances and recordings with numerous well-known musicians and ensembles: Lee Konitz , Sam Rivers , Charlie Mariano , Gramelot Ensemble, Charles Gayle , Tamara Obrovac , Greg Cohen , Thomas Clausen , Simone Zanchini, the WDR Big Band Cologne , Ferenc Snétberger , Ralph Alessi , Joachim Ullrich Orchestra , Achim Kaufmann , Gianni Basso , Dusko Goykovich , Saša Nestorović , Zoltán Lantos , Nicolas Simion , Renato Rožić or Vasko Atanasovski. He was also a member of the Boilers Quartet and the Boilers All Stars . He recorded more than 80 albums with various artists. He accompanied Gabi Novak with the trio of Matija Dedić . The guitarist Damir Dičić brought him to his Jazz Art Kvartet .
