The KsOd VIm was a freight train - steam locomotive series of the kk private Kaschau-Oderberger Bahn .

history

The Kaschau-Oderberger Bahn needed very powerful locomotives early on to operate on its steep routes in the High Tatras . When the Hungarian state railway MÁV in 1909 for its mountain roads Malletlokomotiven the series 651 acquired with the wheel arrangement C'C, the Košice-Bohumín Railway ordered such locomotives.

The locomotives were supplied by MÁVAG in Budapest and the Floridsdorf locomotive factory in Vienna .

After the nationalization of the Kaschau-Oderberger Bahn in 1924, the locomotives came closed to the ČSD, which classified them as class 622.0 . The locomotives remained on their main line until they became dispensable with the electrification that began in 1953.

The ČSD decommissioned the locomotives until 1957. No locomotive from the 622.0 series has survived.
