Handicrafts

Kubatschi has become famous for its centuries-old tradition of silver and goldsmiths. The Kubatschi combine still produces handcrafted silver goods that are sold throughout Russia.

language

The people of Kubachi are Dargins . The dialect of the Cuban people differs considerably from other Dargin dialects, which is why it was often referred to as a separate language in the past - there are dictionaries and linguistic descriptions of the "Cuban language". Today, however, it is referred to as the Dargin dialect; the pupils in Kubatschi learn the standard variant (literary language) of Dargin at school.
