The Kubitza Glacier is a glacier on the Wilkins Coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows from the north to the Clifford Glacier , which it reaches immediately east of Mount Samsel .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it in 1974 based on aerial photographs of the United States Navy in 1966 and survey work by the British Antarctic Survey between 1972 and 1973. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1976 after Johnny T. Kubitza (1942-2009) of the US Navy, Head of Construction at Palmer Station between 1969 and 1970.
