Kuersche
Kuersche , real name Andreas Kürschner (born January 27, 1967 in Pattensen ), is a German singer-songwriter and producer.
Career
In 1988 Kuersche (guitar, vocals) founded the band “Storemage” together with Dirk Lankenau (bass, vocals) and Toni Fontanella (drums, vocals). After three released albums and around 500 gigs, u. a. supporting Robert Forster and Fury in the Slaughterhouse , the band separated in 1994.
Kuersche has been a solo artist since 1995.
He has developed various formats for his appearances. He sometimes plays all by himself, either as a classic singer-songwriter with only acoustic guitar or with electric guitar and electronic loops and samples. Duo performances accompanied by changing drummers are just as much a part of the repertoire as concerts with full band accompaniment, 2013 to 2016 by Fury-In-The-Slaughterhouse members Rainer Schumann (drums), Christian Decker (bass) and Gero Drnek (guit., Voc.) As "Kuersche & Members of Fury in the Slaughterhouse".
His published albums cover a corresponding range, expanded to include the variant of the piano duo with Lutz Krajenski (Roger Cicero Band) on "Chinese Firecrackers - Piano Edition".
In 2013, together with the actor Manfred Upnmoor from Lübeck's theater23.de, he created “Frutti Tutti - The Festival Show” with various guest artists.
Since 2017, Kuersche has been performing as a trio accompanied by the brothers Jan Neumann (bass) and Lars Neumann (drums).
