Kuno Ernst von Bredow

Kuno Ernst von Bredow (* 1663 ; † April 25, 1725 ) was a royal Prussian major general . He was lord on Rostin and Amtshauptmann of Gramzow .

He was the son of Heinrich Albrecht von Bredow (* October 13, 1612, † August 1694) and his wife Ilse Margarethe von Greiffenberg .

Life

In 1692 he became Rittmeister in Cuirassier Regiment No. 2. On March 12, 1709 he was promoted to colonel. In 1715 he took part in the Pomeranian campaign. In 1711 he came to the cuirassier regiment No. 5 (Margrave Friedrich) as a colonel , and on June 6, 1719 he was appointed major general. In 1723 he became chief of the Cuirassier Regiment No. 1 . Shortly afterwards he got his farewell and retired to his property where he died.

He was married to Anna Margaretha von der Marwitz since 1693 . She was the daughter of Hans von der Marwitz (1608–1674) the commander of the Küstrin Fortress and his wife Anna Margarethe von Münchhausen (1626–1686). The couple had the following children:

Major General Christoph Karl Friedrich von Bardeleben (born September 23, 1727, † September 25, 1798) is the son of Luise Elisabeth and Hans Christoph von Bardeleben .
