Bad Aibling Art Association

The Bad Aibling Art Association in Bad Aibling is a non-profit association dedicated to the mediation of contemporary art .

The association was founded on October 26, 1950. The founding members included Leo von Welden , Sepp Hilz , Willi Kreutzer and Heinrich Aigner . The association has almost 200 members of which around 100 are artistically active. The art association is a member of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutscher Kunstvereine (ADKB) founded in 1980 .

Gallery in the old fire station

In 2003 the city made the old fire station available to the association for exhibition purposes. Up to eight exhibitions take place annually in the 120 m² gallery and once a year the current work of the artistically active members of the association is shown in an unjudged member exhibition. For example, works by Georg Huber , Andreas Legath , Niyozali Kholmatov , Willy Reichert , Karl-Heinz Richter , Friedrich G. Scheuer , Benoît Tremsal , Hermann Urban were shown in the context of exhibitions .
