Georg Huber (painter)
Georg Huber (born March 6, 1961 in Rosenheim ) is a German painter, airbrush artist , author, lecturer and publisher.
Life
After training in the trade, he attended the graphic studio Burke in Munich. At the beginning of the 1980s he gave up his job as a car mechanic. Since then he has referred to himself as a “traveling artist”. He calls his mystical landscape paintings dreamscapes . His motifs from the American Moments series , which were created after impressions from his numerous journeys in search of motifs, are also known.
Georg Huber has received various awards and honors for his motifs since the early 1980s. His work is regularly presented as cover pictures and featured in the scene magazines. More than 50 of his motifs were published in series as art prints, posters and postcards by various publishers. Numerous exhibitions at home and abroad presented his paintings, mostly made on canvas. His works have been published in five illustrated books so far. Georg Huber also worked as an artist in film and television productions. Georg Huber lectured around 200 times for airbrush, painting and creative courses.
Georg Huber lives near Ostermünchen (Upper Bavaria), is married and has one son.
