The Kurshab River ( Russian Куршаб ) is a left tributary of Syrdarja -Quellfluss Karadarja in Kyrgyzstan .

The Kurschab rises on the northern flank of the Alai Mountains . In the upper reaches of the river the river is called Gulchö (Гүлчө). It flows in a northerly direction through the mountains and after 157 km flows into the Andijon reservoir through which the Kara-Daryja ( Qoradaryo ) flows . The administrative center of VALSCHÖ is located on the river . The Kurschab drains an area of ​​3750 km². The mean discharge (MQ) near the mouth is 24.6 m³ / s. The water of the Kurschab is used for irrigation .
