The television film Course Loss is a Swiss production in 2013 with the participation of the television station SRF . The feature film tells the story of Julia and Robert and their family.
The TV premiere took place on October 13, 2013 on SRF 1 .
action
Julia is a happy mother, a passionate rower and works successfully as a team leader in the social welfare office in Biel. When her husband Robert loses his job in international financial trading, Julia's life changes suddenly. Robert stays at home now and does not hurry to look for a job.
When Julia's boat capsizes one day, the likeable homeless Elias fishes her up. Elias lives in the harbor and renovates his boat.
In the conversation she gives Elias the picture of a successful woman who has her life under control. But this self-image has faltered since her husband lost the job. Her mother is entering the last phase of life, and nothing more can be said of her two children. Julia is particularly worried about her quietly pubescent son Pascal. Once she has to pick him up at the police station after he and his colleagues almost set Elias on fire.
Elias is satisfied with his life, which is what fascinates Julia. She visits him more and more often because he helps her to cope with her crisis of meaning. As a result, her husband leaves the family and goes on a trip.
It turns out that Elias lost his son in a diving accident. He makes contact with his family again and returns to them. Robert comes back too. Pascal is now with a classmate.
