Kurt Dörflinger
Kurt Dörflinger (born August 5, 1910 in Karlsruhe ; † January 6, 1986 in Estorf ) was a German composer who also worked as a jazz and entertainment musician. He also published under the pseudonym Collano .
Dörflinger studied at the Munz Conservatory in his hometown in the 1920s. In the 1930s and 1940s he worked as a saxophonist with Willy Berking , in the German Dance and Entertainment Orchestra (under Willi Stech ) and with Kurt Widmann , for whom he wrote the piece Heisse Tage . Then he worked in radio orchestras. He composed orchestral works, the comic opera Der Erntekranz , the symphonic work Revolution , but also hits such as Quite leis' can be heard from Conny Scheffel recorded.
