Kurt Geisler
Kurt Geisler (born January 7, 1952 in Kiel ) is a German writer and educator.
Life
Kurt Geisler was born in 1952 as the son of a family of chemists in Kiel . He passed his Abitur in 1973 at the Kiel Business School. He then went to Kiel University to study English , Danish and geography . In 1974 he had to break off his studies because he was called up for alternative service.
In 1979 he took up a teaching degree at the University of Education in Kiel . In 1983 he passed his 1st state examination and in 1985 his 2nd state examination. He worked in the school service until 1995 when he was seconded to the State Institute for Quality Development at Schleswig-Holstein Schools (IQSH) to set up the Schleswig-Holstein State Education Server as a project manager. In 2002 he was appointed to the Kiel Ministry of Education.
Kurt Geisler has published some of his short stories freely on the Internet on his homepage in recent years.
