Kurt Küchler (born March 9, 1883 in Essen , † May 1, 1925 in Nienstedten / Holstein ) was a German journalist and writer .

Life

After dropping out of his architecture studies at the Technical University of Hanover , Kurt Küchler worked as a journalist in Magdeburg and Altona , where he was a theater critic on the editorial team of the “Altonaer Tageblatt” until 1910 . From 1910 to 1913 he wrote for the features section of the " Hamburger Fremdblatt ", after which he lived as a freelance writer in Nienstedten. Despite his blindness, he practiced his profession in the last years of his life until his death.

Kurt Küchler was primarily known as a writer of theater pieces , but his literary work also includes numerous novels and stories as well as poems .
