Kurt Malisch
Kurt Paul Malisch (born June 15, 1881 in Landsberg an der Warthe , † April 9, 1970 ) was a German swimmer .
Kurt Malisch started for the Berlin swimming club . At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912, Malisch competed on the 200-meter chest course and on the 400-meter chest course. In the preliminary and intermediate runs from July 7th, the same five swimmers qualified for the finals on July 12th: the Swede Thor Henning , the British Percy Courtman and the three Germans Walter Bathe , Wilhelm Lützow and Kurt Malisch. Bathe won gold over 200 meters ahead of Lützow and Malisch; Bathe won over 400 meters ahead of world record holder Henning and Courtman, Malisch took fourth place.
