Kurt Messmer
Kurt Meßmer (born April 14, 1922 in Ludwigsburg ; † August 29, 2012 ) was a German lawyer and presiding judge at the Federal Fiscal Court .
Life
After completing his legal training, Messmer initially worked in the financial administration of Baden-Württemberg and then as a judge at the Stuttgart Finance Court . When he was appointed federal judge in 1970 , he was presiding judge at the finance court. At the Federal Fiscal Court he was a member of the First Senate. From 1978 until his retirement in 1989 he headed this Senate.
