Kurt Pennewitz (born December 30, 1922 ) is a former German football player and coach .

Career

Pennewitz began his career with Preußen Hameln and played in the 1949/50 season in the Oberliga Nord at Eintracht Braunschweig . After a total of 14 league appearances, Pennewitz moved to Arminia Bielefeld . For the Arminia Pennewitz played in the 1950/51 season in the II. Division West and scored five times in 14 games for the Bielefeld. Pennewitz then moved to TSV Detmold , with whom he was relegated from the II West Division at the end of the 1951/52 season. He scored seven times in 24 games for Detmold.

After his playing career, Pennewitz became a football coach. He came to VfL Wolfsburg through 1. FC Wolfsburg in 1962 , where Pennewitz worked until April 1963.
