Kurt Schubert (pastor)
Kurt Schubert (born March 8, 1902 in Kassel ; † 1967 ) was a German pastor and politician ( CDU ). From 1946 to 1950 he was a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament .
Life
Schubert attended grammar school and was pastor in Spremberg from 1930 to 1933 and in Brandenburg an der Havel from 1933 to 1945 . After the Second World War he became a member of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU). From 1946 he was a deputy superintendent on the church leadership of the Evangelical Church in Berlin-Brandenburg . From 1946 he was an unpaid city councilor in Brandenburg. In October 1946 he was elected to the Brandenburg state parliament with the CDU mandate. With effect from March 1, 1952 he was transferred to West Berlin and worked as a pastor in Berlin-Wilmersdorf until 1965 .
