Kurt Trautwein (soccer player)
Kurt Trautwein (born April 21, 1906 in Düsseldorf ; † May 1, 1990 ) was a German football player.
Career
Trautwein belonged from 1928 to 1934 Fortuna Dusseldorf as a defender of, for which he in the West German Game Association discharged Championships until season 1932/33 in the mountain district-Mark , denied point games.
During his club membership, he won the championship in the Berg-Mark district twice, once the West German championship, which qualified him and his team for the final round of the German championship. His debut in this competition ended on May 14, 1931 in the opening event in the Düsseldorf Rheinstadion with the 2: 3 defeat n.V. against Eintracht Frankfurt . Two years later, he and his team were again qualified for the final round of the German Championship - this time second in the West German Championship . In all four games - including the final won 3-0 against FC Schalke 04 in Cologne on June 11, 1933 - won without conceding a goal, he had played and thus contributed to the title.
He played his last season in the Gauliga Niederrhein , in one of initially 16, later increased to 23 Gauligen at the time of National Socialism as a uniform top division in the German Empire . He finished this with his team in second place behind the tied champions VfL Benrath , who had the better goal quotient .
