Kurt von Sanden

Kurt Emil Reinhard Albert von Sanden (also Curt ; * October 24, 1842 in Ragnit ; † October 3, 1901 in Tilsit ) was a German manor owner , lawyer and member of the Prussian House of Representatives (1894-1901).

His parents were the district court director in Ragnit Bernhard Julius von Sanden (* May 11, 1799 - March 4, 1884) and his wife Therese von Sanden, b. Freiin von Lyncker (* August 18, 1805 - May 21, 1857).

Live and act

Kurt von Sanden attended the Royal Lithuanian Provincial School in Tilsit. After graduating from high school, he studied law and camera science at the University of Jena in 1862/63 . There he became a member of the Teutonia Jena fraternity in 1862 . From 1863 he worked as a farmer on his Eckardsberga estate in East Prussia , from 1866 on the Röhrichen estate near Königsberg and from 1883 he was the owner of a manor on Czaky near Gelguddiczky in Poland via Schmaleniuken (East Prussia). From 1894 until his death in 1901 he became a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency of Gumbinnen 1 (Tilsit, Niederung), where he belonged to the National Liberals faction .

family

On September 6, 1878, he married Olga Kamilla Mielke (* August 29, 1855 - May 10, 1891) from Hoch-Gielgudyszki. Her son was Horst von Sanden (1883-1965), mathematician and university professor.
