Kurtkulağı ( Turkish for wolf's ear ) is a municipality in the district of Ceyhan in the Turkish province of Adana . The place is in the Çukurova plain, in the south of the district on the road from Ceyhan to Yumurtalık , about 14 kilometers south of the district town.
In ancient times , the Roman waystation ( mansio ) Tardequeia was located here . Later the caravan route from Istanbul to Aleppo in Syria passed through the town. The Kurtkulağı caravanserai from Ottoman times in the center bears witness to this .
