Květa Pacovská
Květa Pacovská (born July 28, 1928 in Prague ) is a Czech artist and children's book illustrator .
Life
Květa Pacovská studied at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague with Emil Filla . She draws and paints , she makes collages and paper objects ( conceptual art ). In 1992 Pacovská received the Hans Christian Andersen Award , the highest and most prestigious international award for children's book authors and illustrators.
In 1992 and 1993 she worked as a visiting professor at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin.
