Kwame Ofori (football player)

Kwame Ofori (born March 13, 1993 ) is a German American football player.

career

Ofori, the son of a German mother and a Ghanaian father, began his American football career in 2011 in a youth team of the Hamburg Huskies . From 2012 to 2014 he was a member of the second division men's team of the Hanseatic League, from 2014 he played for the Huskies in the GFL. Between the football game years he was temporarily on the field in basketball for Bramfelder SV in the 2nd regional league. He had already played the latter sport before devoting himself to American football.

In 2017, Ofori was appointed to the German national football team for the first time and was one of the top performers in the selection at the World Games in Wroclaw that won the silver medal at the tournament. For winning the silver medal he was from Landessportverband Schleswig-Holstein and the Schleswig-Holstein state government awarded.

For the 2017 season, Ofori switched to the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes , for which the 1.90 meter wide receiver was in the GFL until 2019. In basketball, he joined the regional league team Eimsbütteler TV in 2018 . In 2020 he joined GFL promoted Elmshorn Fighting Pirates .
