Kyah Pam Simon (born June 25, 1991 in Blacktown ) is an Australian soccer player . It is partially descended from Aboriginal people .

Career

society

Simon played for the Central Coast Mariners and moved to Sydney FC in the Australian W-League in 2009 . In the 2010/11 season she was the top scorer and won the Julie Dolan medal as "Player of the Year". After two Australian championships with Sydney FC in 2009 and 2013, she moved to the Boston Breakers' new NWSL franchise in early 2013 . In 2012 she had already played on loan for a short time with the Breakers when they competed in the semi-professional WPSL Elite for one season after the WPS's sudden dissolution .

After returning to Australia, she only played three league games for Sydney FC in 2013 and 2014 due to injury. She returned to the Boston Breakers during the 2015 World Cup and played there, interrupted by a loan to Sydney FC, until the end of the 2016 season.

National team

On August 4, 2007, she made her debut for the Australian national team . In 2011 she took part in the World Cup in Germany. In the last group game against Norway, she scored two goals and played a key role in qualifying for the quarter-finals. At the 2015 World Cup in Canada, she scored the decisive 1-0 in the round of 16 against Brazil. With this victory, the Australians moved into the World Cup quarter-finals.
