The Kyma ( Russian Кыма ) is a right tributary of the Mesen in the Arkhangelsk Oblast in north-western Russia .

The Kyma rises on the western flank of the Timan ridge . It flows northwest first, but then turns south before meeting the Mesen. Its main tributaries are Lopija from the right, and the Cholus , Sesja and Bolshaya Wisenga from the left. The valley of the Kyma is largely uninhabited. There are only three villages on the lower reaches and at the mouth.

The Kyma has a length of 219 km. It has a catchment area of ​​2630 km². It is mainly fed by the snowmelt.
