Kymly's commercial building

The Kymly'sche commercial building was a residential and commercial building on the corner lot at Alleestraße 57 / Stadtbrückchen in Düsseldorf . It was built by the architect Leo von Abbema before 1904 and no longer exists.

The street front was plastered and of "picturesque structure". It was built in the style of eclecticism with echoes of the Renaissance and "in free Gothic design". The building was four storeys high, the facades on the ground floor and the first floor were divided into large shop windows. A corner tower with a Renaissance-style dome was located above the sloping corner . The facades showed oriel extensions, Gothic tracery and gable .

The Moltke monument was in front of the house .
