The Kyrkjeskipet ( Norwegian for nave ) is a 3085 m high mountain peak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises immediately north of the Kapellet Gorge and dominates the northeastern part of Jøkulkyrkja in the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains .
The mountain was mapped on the basis of measurements and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960), whose participants also provided the descriptive naming.
