Lárus Þór Guðmundsson (born December 12, 1961 in Reykjavík ) is a former Icelandic football player who has played as a striker.

Until 1981 he played for Víkingur Reykjavík . From 1982 to 1984 he played for THOR Waterschei in Belgium . In the 1984/85 season he moved to the 1st Bundesliga for Bayer 05 Uerdingen . He played 62 games here in three seasons, scored 17 goals and won the DFB Cup in 1985 . Then he played in the 1987/88 season for 1. FC Kaiserslautern , where he came to seven missions. From 1980 to 1987 he came to 17 missions in the Icelandic national football team , for which he was able to score three goals.
