László Dankó

László Dankó (born April 22, 1939 in Szarvas ; † June 25, 1999 ) was a Hungarian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Kalocsa-Kecskemét .

Life

László Dankó received in the June 16, 1963 Szeged , the sacrament of Holy Orders . In 1983 he was made an honorary papal prelate .

Pope John Paul II appointed him on March 3, 1987 Titular Bishop of Midila and Apostolic Administrator for the Archdiocese of Kalocsa.

The Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest , Cardinal László Paskai , consecrated him on May 2, 1987 as bishop. Co -consecrators were Bishop Kornél Pataky of Győr and Bishop József Udvardy of Szeged-Csanád .

On June 5 of the same year he was appointed Archbishop of Kalocsa-Kecskemét.
