László Kiss-Rigó
László Kiss-Rigó (born April 6, 1955 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Szeged - Csanád (Szeged-Tschanad) in Hungary .
Life
László Kiss-Rigó was ordained a priest on June 14, 1981 in the Archdiocese of Esztergom by László Cardinal Lékai .
In 2004 he was appointed titular bishop of Pudentiana by Pope John Paul II and appointed auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest. The episcopal ordination received his Archbishop Péter Cardinal Erdő on 21 February 2004 co-consecrators were Archbishop Emeritus László Cardinal Paskai and the apostolic nuncio in Hungary, Archbishop Juliusz Janusz . 2006 Kiss-Rigó was from Pope Benedict XVI. appointed Bishop of Szeged-Tschanad .
During the 2015 refugee crisis in Europe , Kiss-Rigó spoke out sharply against Pope Francis ' appeal for solidarity . “They are not refugees. This is an invasion, ”said Kiss-Rigo, according to the Washington Post . "They come here with the cry of ' Allahu Akbar ' (God is great) and want to conquer us." Moreover, most of the migrants behaved "very arrogantly and cynically". He agreed with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán , but the Pope had no idea of the actual situation.
