Normal way from the Kasererscharte from the southwest

The Lärmstange is a mountain with a 2686  m above sea level. A. high summit in the Zillertal Alps in the Austrian state of Tyrol . It is a little off the beaten track near the ski area in Hintertux .

Climb

The normal ascent takes place from the Kasererscharte first in an easterly direction and then over a rubble field in a north-easterly direction to the summit.

Climbing is possible on the north edge of the Lärmstange, the ascent is 4+ and takes 1.5 hours. A route of difficulty VII + / VIII- leads through the overhanging east wall, which was first climbed in 1982 by Darshano L. Rieser and Paul Koller.

Cableways

To the east of the Lärmstange, the Lärmstange double chairlift, built in 1978, runs past the Hintertux ski area.
